Let’s Make It!

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.  Put your chicken breast in a casserole dish that’s been sprayed with cooking spray.  Drizzle Ranch Dressing over each breast.  I happen to use Peppercorn Ranch for these, but my favorite is Salsa Ranch.  You can experiment with different types of dressing, as this would change up the flavor.

Top with bacon.  I used real bacon pieces.  You could cook your own bacon and crumble it on top, as well.  I would say at least 6 slices…maybe 8.  I used a whole package of the bacon pieces.

Place in preheated oven and cook uncovered for 20-25 minutes. Cooking time will depend on thickness of breast.  If breast is over an inch thick, I would split it in half (make 2).

Take out of oven and top with cheese and cook for another 10 minutes until cheese has completely melted.  (These are not the prettiest of pictures, but you get the idea of what it’s supposed to look like.  Sometimes you just can’t get pretty pics.  It’s real life.)

That’s it!  Dinner is ready and it’s yummy!  I served with brown rice and a salad.
